The Wahconah Regional Warriors lost against the Pittsfield Generals back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The game between Wahconah Regional and Pittsfield wasn't particularly close, with Wahconah Regional falling 72-54. Wahconah Regional has struggled against Pittsfield recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Da'Sean Brown continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Pittsfield, scoring 31 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Perry, who scored 18 points.
Wahconah Regional now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Pittsfield, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.
Wahconah Regional will play host again and welcome Hoosac Valley, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wahconah Regional will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings (they are ranked 139th, while Hoosac Valley is ranked 42nd). As for Pittsfield, they will head out on the road to square off against West Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pittsfield knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully West Springfield likes a good challenge.
