Football Recap: Platt RVT Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Platt RVT won the last time they faced Thames River co-op [Norwich RVT/Grasso RVT/St. Bernard] and Caleb Brickhouse did his part to make sure it happened again. The Panthers simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Crusaders 44-6 thanks in part to Brickhouse, who rushed for 155 yards and one TD on only 15 carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 111 rushing yards per game.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Platt RVT, adding 14 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Brady Maslar, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

The win was the third in a row for Platt RVT, bringing their record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.7 points over those games. As for Thames River co-op [Norwich RVT/Grasso RVT/St. Bernard], their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
