Last Friday, South Granville had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 28-17 victory over Bunn. No one put up better numbers for South Granville than senior Austin Ferguson, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 136 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Granville Central didn't have too many spare points in their contest with Vance County, but they still walked away with a 16-12 win. The Granville Central offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Everything came up roses for South Granville against Granville Central the last time the two teams met as the squad secured a 55-9 victory. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
