The Triton Trojans lost against the North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Triton took a 47-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bluejays.
Despite the loss, Triton still got an impressive performance from Addyson Viers, who scored 20 points along with seven blocks and six rebounds. That was a full 50% of Triton's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Nadia Stetler, who scored eight points.
It was another big night for Kyleigh Lehiy, who scored 13 points along with six steals for North Judson-San Pierre. Lehiy hasn't dropped below three steals for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Cailyn Tunis, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Triton's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for North Judson-San Pierre, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.
Triton will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. Trinity is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for North Judson-San Pierre, they will take on the Satellites at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully South Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday.
