Softball Recap: Mukwonago Has No Trouble Against Sheboygan North

Mukwonago lost to Sheboygan North back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Indians blew past the Golden Raiders 20-7. Considering the Indians have won four matches by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Taylor Hingiss, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Chatham, who went 4-for-5 with four runs.

Mukwonago was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Mukwonago's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Sheboygan North, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Mukwonago will head out on the road to face off against Muskego at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sheboygan North, they will host Bay Port at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
