Animo Bunche is 0-10 against Central City Value since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Animo Bunche Stallions will head out on the road to face off against the Central City Value Jaguars at 2:00 p.m.
Last Thursday, Animo Bunche was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 43-39 to Aspire Ollin. Animo Bunche has struggled against Aspire Ollin recently, as their game on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Central City Value's game on Friday was all tied up 17-17 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They strolled past Annenberg with points to spare, taking the game 41-27. The victory was just what Central City Value needed coming off of a 96-38 defeat in their prior match.
Central City Value's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Angel Marcial, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, and Andy Lobos, who scored 21 points along with six steals and five rebounds. The contest was Marcial's third in a row with at least ten points.
Animo Bunche now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Central City Value, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-4.
Animo Bunche came up short against Central City Value in their previous meeting back in February, falling 45-36. Can Animo Bunche avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
