After having lost a blowout to Lincoln in their previous game, Sioux City North was happy to find some success on Friday. Sioux City North blew past Lincoln 47-20. Lincoln can consider this payback for the 12-53 loss they dealt Sioux City North the last time the teams encountered one another.
Sioux City North's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 34 points in the first half. Lincoln came up with 6 to put the score at 34-6. Sioux City North were outperformed in the second half 13-14 but had enough in reserve from the first to take the contest. This was the first game for both teams, giving Sioux City North a 1-0 record and starting Lincoln off at 0-1.
