Coldwater better focus on containing  Charlotte Nelson and  Allie Bornhorst as the pair were huge in New Bremen's win. Nelson  had four  digs and two  aces, while  Bornhorst  had 17 assists and two  aces. That's the most  assists  Bornhorst has posted  over her last seven  contests.
 New Bremen  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 12  aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. John's only  served one.
 Coldwater's defeat dropped their record down to 16-4. As for New Bremen, their record now sits at 18-2.
 Everything went Coldwater's way against New Bremen when the teams last played  back in October of 2024, as Coldwater made off with  a  3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavaliers since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
