The Niceville Eagles entered their tilt with the Pace Patriots with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Niceville strolled past Pace with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 64-45. That's two games straight that Niceville has won by exactly 19 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Niceville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carson Fayard, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiyah Hatcher, who scored 20 points along with two steals.
Niceville is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Pace, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Niceville will take on Choctawhatchee at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Choctawhatchee is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Pace, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Pine Forest at 6:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Pine Forest is ranked 77th, while Pace is ranked 59th).
