Micheal Valdez was a one-man wrecking crew for Maywood CES as he rushed for 136 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 26 yards and a touchdown. Domenic Angulo was in the mix as well, providing Maywood CES with two touchdowns.
Maywood CES's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut George Ramirez.
Meanwhile, Reseda fell victim to Verdugo Hills and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were beaten by the Dons 38-0.
