After flying high against the Overlea Falcons last Wednesday, the Perry Hall Gators came back down to earth. Perry Hall fell just short of Carver A&T by a score of 42-40. It was the first time this season that Perry Hall let down their fans at home.
Laila Brandon was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and six steals. Elisah Guity was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Perry Hall's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4. As for Carver A&T, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
Perry Hall will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastern Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Eastern Tech is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Carver A&T, they will head out on the road to face off against Pikesville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Pikesville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 421 points over their last six matches.
