The Tabernacle Christian Ram were the 58-55 winner over the Scotland Christian Academy Saints when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. Tabernacle Christian fell 49-41 to Scotland Christian Academy on Tuesday.
It was another big night for Layla Nicolosi, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds and five steals for Scotland Christian Academy. That makes it three consecutive games in which Nicolosi has scored at least a third of Scotland Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Lily Cartrette, who scored eight points along with 14 rebounds and six assists.
Tabernacle Christian's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-8. As for Scotland Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tabernacle Christian will take on Victory Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Scotland Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Raleigh Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
