On Friday, Plainfield strolled past Parish Hill with points to spare, taking the game 39-25. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Plainfield.
When it comes to explaining why Parish Hill lost, one person who can't be blamed is Hannah Becker . Despite the final result, she scored four points along with 15 blocks and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Julie Millard, who scored eight points.
Plainfield pushed their record up to 2-0 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Parish Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Plainfield will be home for the holidays to greet Harvard Ellis Tech at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Harvard Ellis Tech will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Connecticut Rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Plainfield is ranked 34th). As for Parish Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Putnam at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
