After losing to Van-Far/Community the last time they met, Clopton/Elsberry decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Clopton/Elsberry walked away with a 50-42 victory over Van-Far/Community. The success represented a nice turnaround for Clopton/Elsberry, who in their last game suffered a tough 0-47 defeat.
The win got Clopton/Elsberry back to even at 2-2. The loss dropped Van-Far/Community's record to 1-2.
Clopton/Elsberry will stay at home next week against Wright City at 7:00 PM. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games. Van-Far/Community will be staying on the road, facing off against North Callaway. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Van-Far/Community and North Callaway will really light up the scoreboard.
