Make it nine blowout wins for the Crane Medical Cougars this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Schurz 68-9 at home. The victory was familiar territory for Crane Medical who now have three in a row.
Crane Medical's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Za'Nylah Moaton, who scored 20 points along with seven steals and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Moaton has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sariah Allen, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 steals.
Crane Medical's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Schurz, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Crane Medical will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Jones at 5:00 p.m. Schurz will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against North Lawndale at 5:00 p.m. on January 18th.
