After a string of three wins, Brazos's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Bellville Brahmas. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since August 19th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-6, 25-18.

Abbey Danford paced Brazos' offense, picking up four kills. Danford got some help from Blair Warren and her six assists. McKenna Stroud controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Brazos' defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Bellville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brazos will take on Faith Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bellville, they will host Sealy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
