It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Windsor Jaguars had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against Rancho Cotate by a score of 14-7. The win was nothing new for Windsor as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Judson Anderson threw for 129 yards and two touchdowns. Gunnar Erickson was his top target, picking up 68 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Windsor pushed their record up to 10-1-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.2 points per game. As for Rancho Cotate, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5.
Windsor will face off against El Cerrito at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in El Cerrito's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last four matchups. Rancho Cotate does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
