The Tate Aggies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 48-29 bruising from Calvary Christian Academy. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Tate of the 31-28 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Tate's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tina Lett, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Pittman, who scored eight points.
Tate has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.
Tate will take on the Patriots at TBD on Monday. Pace is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Calvary Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
