Tennessee barely beat Tazewell the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Tennessee never let Tazewell get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Friday. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Vikings this season.

Tennessee's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Tazewell, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tennessee will head out to face off against Unicoi County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Unicoi County's pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so Tennessee's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Tazewell, they are taking a road trip to take on Pulaski County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
