Snowflake has gone a perfect 10-0 against Blue Ridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Lobos will welcome the Yellow Jackets at 2:30 p.m. Snowflake is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
Snowflake came out on top against Alchesay on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run fourth inning. The Lobos put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 16-1 victory. The Lobos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Paisley Solomon made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with six RBI, two doubles, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
In other batting news, Snowflake got a massive performance out of Kelsey Scarbrough, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Brooklynn Lovingood was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Snowflake was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .586. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Blue Ridge hadn't done well against Winslow recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 3-2.
Like Snowflake, Blue Ridge also got a great game from a two-way player: Korti Martinez. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Martinez was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Martinez wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kinsley Tafoya, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
Blue Ridge's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Snowflake, their victory bumped their record up to 16-9.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Snowflake hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .364. However, it's not like Blue Ridge struggles in that department as they've averaged .385. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Snowflake's way against Blue Ridge when the teams last played back in March, as Snowflake made off with a 16-2 win. Will the Lobos repeat their success, or do the Yellow Jackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
