Having struggled with ten losses in a row, Santee turned things around against West Adams on Wednesday. They walked away with a 74-63 win over the Panthers. The Falcons pushed the score to 60-39 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers cut but never quite recovered from.

Santee's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Michael Aldridge JR, who almost dropped a double-double on 27 points and nine steals. Those nine steals gave Aldridge JR a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Miguel Vera, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine steals.
Santee was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Manual Arts' strategy against Los Angeles on Friday. Everything went Manual Arts' way against Los Angeles as Manual Arts made off with an 82-59 victory. The Toilers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 23 points or more this season.
Santee better keep an eye on Devin Moody. He was instrumental in Manual Arts' win, dropping a double-double on 48 points and 23 rebounds. That makes it 16 consecutive games in which Moody has scored at least a third of Manual Arts' points. Another player making a difference was Bry'Cen Carter, who went 6 for 10 en route to 15 points.
Manual Arts pushed their record up to 8-8 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 50.5 points. As for Santee, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.
Santee was taken down by Manual Arts 102-38 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024.
