Naperville Central faced Metea Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Redhawks blew past the Mustangs 3-0. The result was nothing new for Naperville Central, who have now won 11 games by three goals or more so far this season.

The win was the ninth in a row for Naperville Central, bringing their record up to 15-1-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those nine matches. As for Metea Valley, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3.

Coincidentally, Naperville Central and Metea Valley will both be playing Naperville North the next time they take the pitch. The Redhawks will head out to face the Huskies at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Mustangs will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
