Payton Rath posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Rath and Indian Creek will welcome Martins Ferry at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
