A Season-Best Effort from Elliott Murphy Leads Powhatan over Cosby
Elliott Murphy produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Powhatan to the win on Friday. Murphy rushed for 59 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes.
The win got Powhatan back to even at 3-3. Murphy and Powhatan will challenge Midlothian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Linwood Johnson was instrumental in extending Huguenot's winning streak to six on Friday. Johnson did his part (and then some), rushing for 82 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, while also throwing for 149 yards and a touchdown on only 13 passes for the 'W'.
This year, Johnson has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 151.7 passing yards per game.

Midlothian Gets a Boost from Chapman Jr. in 59-0 Victory
Dk Chapman Jr. put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also picked up 33 receiving yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 56 yards.
The win was the fifth in a row for Midlothian, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. Chapman Jr. and Midlothian have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Powhatan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ben Whitver produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Powhatan to the win on Friday. Whitver picked up 127 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 95 yards.
