After flying high against the Kenston Bombers last Tuesday, the Chagrin Falls Tigers came back down to earth. Chagrin Falls fell 55-43 to Hawken on Monday. Chagrin Falls has struggled against Hawken recently, as their match on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Chagrin Falls' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jacob Kay, who scored 12 points, and Spencer Kaas who scored nine points. Evan Castelluccio was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds.
Chagrin Falls struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Chagrin Falls' loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Hawken, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
