Cedar Valley's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Timpview Thunderbirds 3-0. The Aviators not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 4th (when they won 3-0).

While Cedar Valley won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13, 27-25.

Cedar Valley found their leader in sophomore Chris Coston, who had 23 assists.

Cedar Valley's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Timpview, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Cedar Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Salem Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Timpview will square off against rival Maple Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
