The third road matchup was the charm for the Creekside Knights, as they earned their first road win of the season. They blew past The Rock 57-30 on the road. With that victory, Creekside brought their scoring average up to 51.2 points per game.
Creekside's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Siun Crowley, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jade Spivey, who scored 12 points.
The win got Creekside back to even at 2-2. As for The Rock, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Creekside will face off against Bartram Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Bartram Trail focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday. As for The Rock, they will head out on the road to face off against Trinity Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Catholic presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than The Rock in Florida (Trinity Catholic is ranked 34th, while The Rock is ranked 406th).
