After flying high against Snow Canyon  on Friday, Mountain Crest came back down to earth. The Mountain Crest Mustangs lost  16-1 to the Desert Hills Thunder on Friday. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Thunder from their previous meeting  back in May of 2024.
 Mountain Crest saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Sage Walker, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  double and one  RBI.
Having lost for the first time  this season, Mountain Crest  fell to 3-1. As for Desert Hills, their victory was  their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 3-0.
 Coming up, Mountain Crest will venture away from home to  challenge North Sanpete  at 9:45  a.m.  on Saturday. Mountain Crest is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.8  runs per game  this season. As for Desert Hills, they will host Tooele  at 8:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Desert Hills knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Tooele likes a good challenge.
