The Glenbrook South Titans fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They blew past Glenbrook North 42-21. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-6.
Nate Canning got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 330 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per carry. Canning is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominick Rejkiewicz, who gained 109 total yards and a touchdown.
Glenbrook South has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Glenbrook North, their loss was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.
Glenbrook South will take on Barrington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Barrington is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Glenbrook North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
