Derek Keeley Dazzles in Rocklin Win
Starting off the list is Rocklin's Derek Keeley, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Keeley rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown. Those 142 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

The second Rocklin player making an appearance here is Rafi Merino, and for good reason. He rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.

Ryder Lyons' Big Game Leads Folsom over Whitney
Ryder Lyons's big game helped extend Folsom's winning streak to six on Friday. Lyons was unstoppable, throwing for 171 yards and five touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for five or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Lyons must have Whitney's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Lyons saw the Wildcats), he threw for 267 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 40 yards.

Darnell Turner Jr. Delivers Best Performance of Season
Granite Bay came up short on Friday despite Darnell Turner Jr. delivering his best game to date. Turner Jr. picked up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown.
Granite Bay's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2. Turner Jr. and Granite Bay will look to defend their home field on Friday against Davis Sr. at 7:00 p.m.
