The Cedarcrest Red Wolves and the Sedro-Woolley Cubs squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Cedarcrest Red Wolves had to settle for second. They fell 41-34 to the Cubs. Cedarcrest was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Sedro-Woolley apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played last Saturday.
Laine Mckenzie and Kiki Anderson certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Mckenzie scored ten points along with seven rebounds and five steals, while Anderson scored eight points along with 13 rebounds and two steals.
Cedarcrest has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Sedro-Woolley, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
Cedarcrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sedro-Woolley, they will head out on the road to challenge Lynden at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lynden has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 618 points over their last nine matches.
