Halls' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jake Lane, who scored 16 points along with 7 assists and 3 steals. Elijah Elliott was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with 6 rebounds.
Halls' win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Seymour, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Halls won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Powell at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. Powell knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully Halls likes a good challenge. As for Seymour, they will head out on the road to face off against Halls at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Halls is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
