 Meanwhile, East Forsyth was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They were two  runs away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of North Oconee. That's two games in a row now that the Broncos have lost by  exactly two  runs.
 Walnut Grove's win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-7. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for East Forsyth, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.
