After two weeks on the road, Elba is heading back home. On Thursday they take on Walthill at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Things haven't been easy for Elba, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-77 to Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family. Elba were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-56.
Meanwhile, Walthill took a serious blow against Spalding Academy last Friday, falling 12-78. The state rankings had actually given Walthill a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
