After a dominant win in their match two weeks ago, Palmyra were humbled on Friday. They came up short against Maple Shade, falling 21-28. Palmyra were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Maple Shade apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat from the last time the teams met up.
The loss dropped Palmyra's record to 2-3. The victory was the 4th in a row for Maple Shade, as they raised their record to 4-2.
Palmyra will be playing at home against Holy Cross at at 7:00 PM next week. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'. As for Maple Shade, they will face off against Riverside. Both of those teams worked hard to overcome the odds in their previous battles and are not about to give an easy one away.
