  Kael Millard was the offensive standout of the  match as he rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in  total yards.
 Troy wouldn't let South Williamsport keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. Troy can thank  Jayden Kutt and  Joaeph Frye for forcing all of them. Kutt didn't just play on offense: he also forced two fumbles and made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss).
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Troy was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 224  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 168  rushing yards in three consecutive  contests.
 Meanwhile, Athens didn't have too much breathing room in their  game against Canton on Saturday, but they still walked away with a  48-42 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Wildcats.
 Troy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Athens, they now  have a winning record of 2-1.
