On Friday Cheverus take on Deering at 7:00 PM. Cheverus are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
After having lost a blowout to Portland in their previous game, Cheverus were happy to find some success last Saturday. Cheverus snuck past Lewiston with a 19-13 win.
Deering had a rough outing against Scarborough two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Deering secured a 12-7 W over Bangor.
Their wins bumped Cheverus to 3-1 and Deering to 2-3. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Cheverus and Deering clash.
