The Natalia Mustangs lost to the Charlotte Trojans last Thursday, but the Natalia Mustangs didn't allow the Charlotte Trojans the same satisfaction on Saturday. Natalia snuck past Charlotte with a 47-43 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Natalia.
Yahdi Lujan had a dynamite game for Natalia, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 14 steals. Lujan hasn't dropped below two steals for 13 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Fulton, who scored 9 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
The victory got Natalia back to even at 8-8. As for Charlotte, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
Natalia is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Poteet at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th. As for Charlotte, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dilley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dilley is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
