While Franklin Parish put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Caldwell Parish. The Franklin Parish Patriots put the hurt on the Caldwell Parish Spartans with a sharp 12-0 win. Considering the Patriots have won five matches by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Franklin Parish and bumps their season record up to 6-1. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-5 Rayville and 3-7 Caldwell Parish. As for Caldwell Parish, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
