Carter-Riverside struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They are winless (0-5) when they can't control their own glass like that.
Young Men's Leadership Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-17. As for Carter-Riverside, they are on a 22-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-24.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Benbrook the next time they take the court. Young Men's Leadership Academy will host the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
