The biggest upset of the week belonged to New Creations Christian, who took down 394th ranked Calvary Christian, 22-20.
Creekside Christian Academy was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in Independent Christian of GA/AL - South. Creekside Christian Academy defeated Creekside Christian Academy 35-14 earlier in the week.
Griffin Christian's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dillan Brogdon threw for 22 and one touchdown and Jairus Bethel had 12 yards receiving. On the ground CJ Lewis chipped in 92 yards. Sean Montgomery helped Griffin Christian's passing attack out by catching one ball for 10 yards.
Taylor Dunn made the biggest impact on defense this week as Griffin Christian fell to Randolph Southern. The junior grabbed one interception.
Brogdon has thrown for 269 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Bethel has three catches for 95 yards. Lewis leads the league in rushing with 403 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Griffin Christian takes on the Knights. Griffin Christian is currently in fifth, while Calvary Christian is in fourth.
The Crusaders moved up to 371 from 417 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Independent Christian of GA/AL - South. New Creations Christian climbed the ranks as a result of a 22-20 win over Brian Osborne's team.
