The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Santee in their matchups with Los Angeles: they've now lost six in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Santee lost, one person who can't be blamed is Emiliano Chavez. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Chavez has scored all season. Israel Snowden was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Santee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Los Angeles, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.
