Ezekiel Academy is 1-9 against Wiregrass since February of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Ezekiel Academy Knights will get right back to it and host the Wiregrass Kings  at 8:00  p.m. Ezekiel Academy is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last 14 games.
Ezekiel Academy will head into Monday's  match hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 39-point drubbing they dealt Southern Christian on Monday. Ezekiel Academy blew past Southern Christian 60-21. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight  games by 22  points or more this season.
 Kelson Free was  his usual excellent self,  going 8 for 15  en route to 23  points in addition to five  boards and three  steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which  he has scored at least a third of Ezekiel Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Terrence Sankey, who  posted eight points along with seven  rebounds and three  steals.
 Ezekiel Academy was working as a unit and  finished the game with 18  assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southern Christian only racked up four  assists.
Meanwhile, Wiregrass can  bid farewell to their 14-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Saturday. They came out on top against Tuscaloosa Home Educators by a score of  55-44.
 Wiregrass' win came from a few key players Ezekiel Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Caleb Dozier, who  put up 18  points and six  boards.  Tucker Duren was another key player,  going 5 of 12  on his way to 10 points and five  rebounds.
 Ezekiel Academy has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 15 of their last 16 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record  this season. As for Wiregrass, their  victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 7-16.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest:  Ezekiel Academy has been smashing the glass this season,  having  averaged 33.2  boards per game. However, it's not like Wiregrass struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 30.5  rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
 Ezekiel Academy strolled past Wiregrass in their previous meeting  back in December of 2024 by a score of  61-43. Does  Ezekiel Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wiregrass turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
