The Woodlands Christian Academy Warriors will head out to  face off against the Lutheran South Academy Pioneers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in The Woodlands Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 31  points  every time they've taken the field this season.
On Friday, The Woodlands Christian Academy humbled  Kelly Catholic with  a  50-14 victory. The  win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

The Woodlands Christian Academy relied on the efforts of   Baron Meacham, who gained 131 total yards and three touchdowns, and   Santiago Fernandez Villarreal, who threw for 223 yards and three  TDs while completing 82.4% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave  Meacham a new career-high in  rushing yards (78). The Woodlands Christian Academy also got help from  Landon Ho, who showed off his sure hands for 84  receiving yards.
 Another reason for the win was The Woodlands Christian Academy's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Kelly Catholic's QB  won't forget  Prince Holiday anytime soon given he sacked him twice.
Meanwhile, Lutheran South Academy didn't have too much trouble with Fort Bend Christian Academy  on Friday as they won  35-18.
Lutheran South Academy's win came from a few key players The Woodlands Christian Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Carson Rocha, who rushed for 124 yards and one  touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 52 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Luke Mazur, who picked up 55 receiving yards and three  scores.
 Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Lutheran South Academy proved: they limited Fort Bend Christian Academy to a paltry 3.3 yards per carry. The team can thank  Cade Griffin for the heroic effort on defense: he. Lutheran South Academy's run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 4.78 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 5.87 on average over their last five games.
 Lutheran South Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Noah Harris and  Max Saldana.
 The Woodlands Christian Academy's record now sits at 8-0. As for Lutheran South Academy, their record is now 6-2.
Friday's   game might be decided on the ground. The Woodlands Christian Academy has been excellent on the ground this season,  having  averaged 168.4  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Lutheran South Academy struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 182.4  rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's   matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
 The Woodlands Christian Academy strolled past Lutheran South Academy in their previous meeting  back in November of 2024 by a score of  51-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
