The biggest upset of the week belonged to Smethport, who took down 454th ranked Smethport, 30-7. Mitch Freeman ran for 137 yards and caught one passes for 13 yards in the win.
Port Allegany extended the longest winning streak in Allegheny Mountain - Northern this week by beating Sheffield, 69-30. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Port Allegany's dynamic duo of Matt Bodamer and Tyce Miller proved tough for the Wolverines to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bodamer threw for 294 yards and four touchdowns and Miller had 176 yards receiving. Nick Conway helped Port Allegany's passing attack out by catching five balls for 77 yards.
Michael Bodamer's team's Bodamer and Miller have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Bodamer has thrown for 2191 yards this season, while Miller, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 43 catches for 822 yards. Coudersport's Freeman leads the league in rushing yards with 680.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Hubbers take on Sheffield. As it stands, Smethport is in second, while Bryan Gould's team is in third.
Otto-Eldred moved up to 518 from 563 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Allegheny Mountain - Northern. The Terrors were able to make the jump by besting Cameron County 20-0.
