Clawson entered their tilt with Hazel Park on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Vikings 12-4. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won 13 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Roy Spielbusch made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over 6.2 innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Clawson got a massive performance out of Steven Chapman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three hits gave Chapman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ezra Lock, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.

Clawson pushed their record up to 18-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Hazel Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8.

Coming up, Clawson will take on Clintondale at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hazel Park, they will square off against Mott at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Marauders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
