Vista PEAK Prep blew past Greeley Central 94-64 on the road. Fans of Vista PEAK Prep have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Vista PEAK Prep's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyree Polk, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 10 rebounds. The game was Polk's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of James Brown III, who scored 19 points along with 6 rebounds.
Greeley Central's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abdirahman Dahir, who scored 16 points. Dahir is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Reid Arlo richardson, who scored 19 points.
Vista PEAK Prep's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Greeley Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Vista PEAK Prep will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Mead at 6:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for Greeley Central, they will square off against Lakewood at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Lakewood focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday.
