While Canajoharie put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Fort Plain. The Cougars blew past the Hilltoppers 11-0. The Cougars have beaten the Hilltoppers the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Hilltoppers has come to flipping the script.

Cody Hyney and Nicholas Barlow did most of the damage at the plate: Hyney scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3, while Barlow went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Aiden Bowerman, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Canajoharie's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Fort Plain, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Canajoharie will welcome Saratoga Central Catholic at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Saints will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fort Plain, they will square off against Lake George at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
