St. Rita's TOMMY MISTER rumbled for the longest rushing play in Chicago Catholic - Blue this season in his game against Providence Catholic last week. MISTER scampered for 89 yards on the play and finished with 179 on the day as his team topped the Celtics.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Loyola Academy beat Mount Carmel 24-17. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Ramblers.
St. Rita's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. MISTER threw for 38 yards and MALIK SPACE had 38 yards receiving. On the ground MISTER contributed 179 yards.
MISTER was the most successful running back in the league this week. TYRE LEE also contributed to the rushing game with 63 yards on the ground.
St. Rita's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. MISTER has thrown for 618 yards and 3 touchdowns this season, while JULIAN CRUM has 12 catches for 230 yards. MISTER also leads the league in rushing with 765 yards.
Brother Rice led the league in scoring this week after putting up 63 points on St. Joseph.
