Indian Hill is 2-7 against Ross since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Braves will host the Rams at 5:00 p.m. Indian Hill will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Indian Hill's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over Deer Park. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.
Parker Stagge was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Derek Zee looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
Back at the plate, Indian Hill let Ben Sichel and Brady Drost run wild. Sichel went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI, while Drost went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Kincaid, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Indian Hill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Ross, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Cincinnati Country Day 3-2. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Nighthawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Indian Hill's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Ross, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
